The Process

  • Start by booking a free discovery call. We’ll talk through your space, your goals, and how I can help. Every project begins with an in-home consultation to make sure we’re aligned before moving forward with an E-Design or Full Design Package.

  • Absolutely. Whether you’re designing one space or your whole home, I’ll meet you where you are and tailor the process to fit.

  • No, the consultation is a discussion of ideas and what types of pieces I would recommend for your space. This step is important to make sure we’re on the same page before we move forward with any specific recommendations.

  • As involved as you want to be! I offer flexible service options to suit your needs, but your collaboration is always welcome.

  • Always. I’ll guide you through options and share recommendations, but you’re the expert on your home and your preferences. You have the final say.

  • Yes, I love when clients are proud of their space and want to share it! That said, all professional photos are copyrighted and must be shared with proper credit to Kaleidoscope Design Studio. If you’re unsure how to caption or tag, I’m happy to provide the credit line.

Pricing and Packages

  • That depends on the scope, size, and level of support you choose. I offer flexible packages for a range of budgets, from a one-time consultation to full-service design. Book a consultation with me and we’ll map out what makes sense for your space.

  • You can choose from:
    -A two-hour in-home consultation (standalone or as a first step)
    -E-Design (you implement with a designer-created plan)
    -Full Design (turn-key design, purchasing, installation, styling)

  • The in-home consultation is a flat rate. The e-design package is a one-time fee based on scope. The full design package is billed hourly at $200/hr + HST. We’ll talk about pricing and expectations during your consultation.

  • Yes! I love working with great people, and chances are your friends, family, or coworkers are pretty great too.

    Here’s how it works:
    If someone you refer signs an E-Design contract, you’ll receive a $20 Starbucks gift card. If they book a Full Design package, you’ll get a $100 Oliver & Bonacini gift card as a thank-you dinner on me.

    And your friend? They’ll receive 10% off their E-Design or Full Design package.

    The fine print:
    -You must be a current or past client or have completed an in-home consultation.
    -Discount applies to design packages only (not consultations).

Design Preferences and Customization

  • Not at all. If there are pieces you love, I’ll find ways to incorporate them into your new design. I never push a one-size-fits-all approach — your space should feel like you.

  • Absolutely. From colour palettes to sourcing just-right pieces, I’ll guide you through it all with your personal style leading the way.

  • Yes! Whether it’s a tight condo layout or a multifunctional home office, I specialize in making small spaces functional and beautiful.

  • I can help you make the most of your outdoor living areas — think patios, decks, or balconies — but I don’t offer full landscaping services.

Execution and Installation

  • Only if you want to. With the full design package, I handle all purchasing and deliveries. With e-design, you receive a detailed shopping list to implement on your own.

  • Yes — if you’ve chosen the full design package, I’ll coordinate everything from ordering to install so you don’t have to lift a finger.

  • For projects that require contractors, I can suggest trusted professionals. I’ll always work with people you’re comfortable with.
